Please note that all third-party services engaged by Lulu Publishers Press—such as publishing platforms, web hosting for online content, APIs, or third-party software—are non-refundable and cannot be canceled prior to the end of their contractual period. If you opt out of third-party services included in your package (e.g., hosting, email services), you will not receive associated services such as email accounts or online publication support.
All manuscripts, editorial assessments, and publishing materials are delivered via your My Account area on the date specified in your Order Confirmation. A notification email will also be sent to alert you of the delivery. All policies regarding revisions and refunds are based on the delivery date and time of your order. Customized manuscripts are typically delivered within 5–7 business days after receipt of your order.
Rush Delivery: You can receive your initial manuscript review within 24 hours by paying an additional $100. Contact customer support for details.
We archive all final manuscripts and publishing materials after delivery. If you need your files resent, we can provide them upon request via email.

Lulu Publishers Press guarantees that all manuscripts, editorial content, and publishing materials are created from scratch. We will provide work that is fully original and compliant with your project brief.
At any stage, any funds deposited are non-refundable once the initial manuscript review, editorial assessment, design concepts, or publishing strategies have been delivered and subsequently approved by the client, or when a revision has been requested unless Lulu Publishers Press cancels or terminates your contract for a reason unrelated to your breach or non-performance.
All refund requests are subject to the following terms:
If you request a refund after receiving the initial editorial assessment, manuscript review, cover design concepts, or publishing plan, and you approve or request changes, the refund offer becomes void. Once the project enters the revision phase (editing revisions, design revisions, or strategy adjustments), the refund policy becomes void and no refund will be granted.
Before delivery of the initial concepts or assessments → Full refund (minus a 10% administrative and processing fee).
Within 48 hours after delivery of the initial concepts → 66% refund (minus a 10% administrative and processing fee).
Within 48–96 hours after delivery of initial concepts → 33% refund (minus a 10% administrative and processing fee).
After 96 hours → No refund will be accepted. However, we encourage you to contact us so we may address your concerns.
No refund will be granted after 7 working days of client inactivity.
If the client becomes unresponsive for 5 working days at any stage, refund eligibility is void.
Restarting the project may incur a reactivation fee depending on the scope.
All refund requests must be submitted to the Lulu Publishers Press Support Department. Lulu Publishers Press reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
No refunds will be granted once final manuscripts, final book design files, marketing materials, or publishing-ready files have been delivered.
For Publishing Packages, no refund will be issued once editorial revisions have begun, cover or interior layout concepts have been revised, or production steps (e.g., formatting, ISBN assignment, printing setup) have commenced. For multi-service packages (e.g., Editing + Cover Design + Marketing), a refund applies only to the portion of services not yet initiated. Example: If you approve the editing but not the marketing plan, you may be eligible for a refund for the marketing service only, subject to the timelines above.
A refund request must include a valid and reasonable explanation, measured against your original project brief and feedback history. If the work has been completed according to your brief and revision instructions, a refund will not be approved; however, further revisions will be provided until you are satisfied.
Both Lulu Publishers Press and the Client agree not to publicly criticize, disparage, or harm the reputation of the other (including employees, partners, or associates) on any platform (forums, blogs, social media, etc.) during or after the engagement. Any breach may require the offending party to pay reasonable damages as determined by the non-breaching party.
Our Money-Back Guarantee applies only when orders are placed in good faith. If a client submits the same manuscript or design request to multiple agencies with the intent to claim multiple refunds, we reserve the right to reject the refund request.
Publishing services require consistent client involvement, including review of drafts, proofs, edits, and designs. Clients are expected to provide timely feedback to ensure the project’s success.
Our 100% unique design guarantee entitles you to a new cover design concept if ours is found to be substantially similar to an existing design by coincidence. Lulu Publishers Press is not responsible for copyright registration; it is the client’s responsibility to secure copyrights for their manuscript and artwork.
Clients are strongly discouraged from initiating chargebacks with their bank or payment provider instead of following the official refund process with Lulu Publishers Press. Any attempt to bypass the established refund process may result in:
Immediate suspension of all project work
Denial of refund eligibility
Recovery of additional administrative or legal fees
Lulu Publishers Press reserves the right to contest any chargeback with supporting documentation, including signed agreements, original project brief, delivery confirmations, communication and feedback records.
Lulu Publishers Press strives for transparent, fair, and professional resolutions to all concerns. The following process applies:
Initial Resolution Attempt: Contact Support Department in writing. Response within 3–5 business days.
Escalation: Senior Project Manager review within 7–10 business days.
Mediation: Neutral third-party mediator; costs shared unless otherwise agreed.
Arbitration: Binding arbitration if mediation fails; decision is final.
Work may be paused during disputes; this does not count as a breach.

Working in a joint effort with the Government Copyright Agencies Lulu Publishers Press would share Copyright Acquisition data for the refunded outlines that would confine the re-utilization of the designs as original designs in the future.

In order to provide you with complete satisfaction, our designers are instructed not to deviate from the specifications provided by the client in the order form. The designs are crafted after adequate and thorough research to ensure quality and uniqueness.
We revamp the requested design and continue overhauling it until you are 100% fulfilled (depending upon your package).
It is pertinent to mention for our esteemed clients that all third-party services hired by us, including Web hosting server(s), Domain(s), and 3rd party web services (APIs), etc., are not refundable and/or not eligible to cancel the contract before it expires.
All the email accounts assigned with the website package can be configured on third party email software such as Outlook.
If you wish to opt out of hosting the website with us, you will not be provided email accounts.
